About Shuswap Hockey Academy
Shuswap Hockey Academy runs hockey camps and skills training in Salmon Arm, BC, for players of every skill level.
What we do
- Weekly On-Ice Skills: small-group skills sessions for ages 10 to 15, every Wednesday morning from October to April.
- Seasonal camps: hockey camps in the winter, spring and summer. Dates are coming soon.
- Dryland training: off-ice speed, strength and skills training. Coming soon.
Why we exist
Team practices have to cover systems, positions and game preparation, which leaves little time for individual skills. The Academy gives players in the Shuswap that time: skating, puck handling, passing and shooting, in small groups where every player gets plenty of repetitions.
Our programs aren’t only for top players. A player in their first season and a rep player chasing the next level both leave a session better than they arrived, and both can train close to home with coaches who have played and coached at a high level.
How it works
Families book and pay online with a free family account. A season pass books a player into every session left in the season. Session packs give the family credits that any of its players can use, and you can also try a single session first.
